Expecting weather for this package
October to March – Best time to explore. During November to December temperature will be cooler everywhere. Nature will be lush green and waterfalls are full alive. From January to March, more chances to spot wild animals and nice weather with the mild climate.
August to September – Experience the beauty of rain, vivid waterfalls, greenery, landscapes. Climate is more unpredictable alternating between sun and some rain. Temperatures are mild between 28-30 in Karnataka & Ooty area to 30-32 in Kerala.
April and May – For sun lovers, Sun is bright for the photos in the morning, Blooms are different and colorful, wild animals are mostly spotted near the water when they are coming to drink. Waterfalls will be less active but still attractive.

Pick up at airport – meet and greet with a great breakfast for any arrival up to 10 AM
Proceed towards Mysore (3h30 to your first destination) On the way you’ll start by discovering a jewel of monument, Somnathpur temple built by the Hoysala Empire in 13th century (UNESCO site).
After reaching Mysore (1h extra drive), you will visit Chamundi Hills that overlooks the city and Nandi statue (which is the third biggest monolithic Nandi statue in the world)
If you have enough time, you could visit Mysore Zoo. It’s an authentic and interesting Zoo due to its wild feeling atmosphere – It takes at least 1h30 for visiting.
Evening there is a must-see unique Illumination of the Palace – happening on Sundays only

After breakfast you’ll go to Devaraja market of Mysore. A nice place to walk through for shopping for example some of their authentic sandal wood specialties.
After, you will have a guided tour of Mysore Palace which is nearby the market. This historical palace is well maintained, very different from North Indian palaces, colourful and has not been much changed during the past 100 years.
From there you’ll take the road to Bandipur – The road is crossing for many kilometres the sanctuary so, open your eyes as you have many chances to spot wild animals like leopards; different monkey, spotted deer and elephants.
After installation in your resort, in the middle of Wild Nature, you’ll get your lunch there (included) – Then you’ll go for a first safari in the forest. (Managed by government – by 4X4 small buses)

After breakfast, proceed to Ooty. (2h drive) pay attention to both sides of the road, wildlife is there…
Reaching Ooty, you’ll go for sightseeing including the Lake and some shooting points.
After lunch, you’ll Take the famous Heritage Ooty train; going down to Coonoor. The train takes you through nice mountains valleys for an original experience. This voyage is taking around 1h to 1h15.
Reaching Coonoor you’ll go nearby to discover the botanical garden of Coonor which is of interest because of its variety of plants and trees, planted for around 100 years back.
Then, you’ll be driven towards your nice and comfortable that hotel we have selected in a quiet area and with a great view. You could decide to have a walk in tea plantation, with the support of your driver.

Before reaching Athirappilly, you will stop at a charming place: Thumboormuzhy butterfly garden and the hanging bridge on Chalakkudy river. This place is very scenic with a large variety of plants, flowers, and trees growing on the river bank that greets you with a gorgeous panoramic view. After a long drive it’s really relaxing to have a walk in such lush green environment along with the river, creating nice landscapes.

In the morning, you will visit the largest waterfall of Kerala, Athirappilly.
After You’ll take a nice road towards a heavenly spot of nature on the bank of Periyar river with beautiful landscape that we discovered recently. (1h drive) A mix of bamboos, large trees, wild nature and the river that meanders gently through rocks. We provide a local support to help you to enjoy safely that unseen place.
For those who would like to experience a French touch when travelling, we could arrange on previous request a very nice PICNIC with all amenities like cushion, matt, umbrella, nice fresh food and light drink in order to enjoy nature, on the bank of the beautiful Periyar River. Otherwise, you can get your lunch in some restaurant before going to Kodanad (30mns drive)
Kodanad is one of the oldest wild elephant taming centres in Asia. To note that the elephant bath happens only in the early morning, after that you can see elephants resting freely in a large natural compound and have a nice walk in that large property.
Depending your flight schedule, drop at Cochin Airport which is around 25 minutes from Kodanad.

Mysore
We have selected a great 3* hotel perfectly located in the city of Mysore, facing a Large Garden and close to the Palace. It offers all 3* amenities. The restaurant design creates a bright atmosphere, and food is good there! Rooms a comfortable and spacious – we do not book base category usually booked for day to day travellers, in order to provide to our guest more suitable features and space. Management is professional and staff usually nice and welcoming.
BANDIPUR
Like in some wildlife sanctuaries, few hotels exist and they will be expensive even if some of them are providing poor comfort. But we have chosen the best Resort available in this category with comfortable cottages are built in the middle of Wildlife – Take care of monkeys and boars!
OOTY-COONOOR
The hotel we have selected in Coonoor is different than others common tourist hotels in that location. With only 12 rooms, clean and comfortable, a professional and welcoming service, a very quiet location far from any road traffic and one of the most beautiful view on the mountains and tea garden we can have in this area. They are cooking nice and authentic food. It’s located at the side of the village. It is popular with our international travellers for its authenticity.
ATHIRAPPILLY
This charming hillside resort was built recently to offer really good amenities and facilities to guest. It’s on the bank of the river flowing from the nearby Athirappilly largest waterfalls of Kerala. Only 20 suites are matching good 3* expectations with very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They have a swimming pool, a fitness center and a SPA.
